Haylea Dorathy, DNP, ARNP, is a dedicated nurse practitioner who brings both experience and heart to the care of children and families at Quad Cities Pediatrics. Originally from Rock Falls, Haylea has spent her career caring for children and supporting families through every stage of growth and development.
Haylea earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Sauk Valley Community College, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Illinois Chicago. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent seven years working in pediatric nursing, giving her a strong clinical foundation and a deep understanding of children’s unique healthcare needs. She has now been practicing as a nurse practitioner at Quad Cities Pediatrics for four years.
Her areas of special interest include newborn care, preventive medicine, and lactation support. Haylea believes pediatrics is about more than treating illness; it’s about caring for the entire family. She strives to make a positive impact in her patients’ lives by providing personalized, evidence-based care that supports children as they grow and thrive.
What Haylea enjoys most about pediatrics is building long-term relationships with children and their families. Watching her patients grow over time and partnering with parents to support their child’s health is what makes her work especially meaningful.
Outside of the clinic, Haylea loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, gardening, and caring for her ever-growing collection of plants 🌿.

Kathryn is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who recently returned to the Quad Cities after spending the past ten years caring for children and families in Austin, Texas. She brings extensive experience in both primary care and urgent care pediatrics and is passionate about providing thoughtful, family-centered care.
Kathryn earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Austin and has cared for patients from newborn through young adulthood throughout her career. She enjoys building lasting relationships with families and values the opportunity to watch children grow while supporting them through each stage of life. Kathryn believes that every phase of childhood comes with its own joys and challenges, and she feels honored to partner with families as they navigate them together.
Outside of the clinic, Kathryn—often called Katie—enjoys spending time with her family, attending live music events, and indulging in a little shoe shopping.
Dr. Ezekiel “Zeke” Hartman is passionate about helping children grow into their healthiest, happiest selves. Originally from Lanark, Illinois, he completed his Bachelor’s degree at Augustana College, followed by his Doctorate in Medicine (MD) from the University of Illinois, Rockford. He then went on to complete his Pediatrics Residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, one of the nation’s leading pediatric institutions.
Dr. Hartman began practicing in 2022 and has quickly become known for his warm approach, evidence-based care, and ability to connect with children and parents alike. His professional interests include infant health, ADHD/ADD management, asthma and allergies, and preventive medicine.
What inspires him most about pediatrics is the privilege of being part of a child’s journey, from infancy through adolescence, helping support families through every milestone. favorite part of the job is forming strong relationships with both parents and patients and growing together as a team.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Hartman is a dedicated sports fan (go Cubs, Bears, Lightning, and Badgers!), and you’ll often find him spending time with his wife, daughter, and their golden retriever, exploring local trails, visiting the farmer’s market, or relaxing at a local brewery.
Janessa brings a thoughtful, compassionate presence to the families she cares for. A proud Cedar Rapids native, she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Iowa and is a Board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has dedicated her career to supporting children from infancy through young adulthood.
She is especially passionate about routine newborn and well-child care, adolescent health, and complex care needs. What drew her to pediatrics is the joy of partnering with families during some of the most meaningful moments of childhood growth. She loves being a trusted support system for parents and creating a welcoming environment where kids feel safe and understood.
Janessa enjoys watching her young patients develop confidence, curiosity, and resilience. She believes deeply in empowering families through education and shared decision-making.
Outside of the clinic, Janessa loves spending time with her husband, son, and their dogs. Whether outdoors or relaxing at home, she cherishes time with her family and brings that same warmth and connection to the care she provides.
Raised right here in Davenport, Robert Wolfe brings both clinical expertise and a strong community connection to his work in pediatrics. He earned his BSN from St. Ambrose University and completed his MSN and Family Nurse Practitioner training at Maryville University. Robert began practicing in November 2024, driven by a desire to advocate for children and provide care to one of the most vulnerable and rewarding patient populations.
Robert’s professional interests include preventive medicine, adolescent health, and acute care visits. He finds great fulfillment in helping kids feel comfortable during visits and in empowering parents with the knowledge they need to support their children’s health.
His favorite part of pediatrics is watching young patients grow and flourish, building long-term relationships with families along the way. At every visit, Robert strives to create a reassuring, collaborative environment.
When he’s not in the clinic, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hunting, teaching his kids new skills, and cheering on the Hawkeyes. As someone who grew up in the Quad Cities, he takes great pride in caring for families in the community he calls home.
